Sometimes, I just lay in the grass
Thinking of nature and trees and plants
When I roll over on a tin can
Ow. The sharp metal.
My inner forest angered, the peace there disrupted.
I think of man and how he is destroying the forest
With his tin cans
He does not see the trees
Suffering
Due to the litter and pollution he creates
He drinks his Diet Pepsi and casts the can to the floor
Ow. The sharp metal.
One day man will live in peace with the forest
As I do
My muddy clothes and dirty hair
At one with the forest.

I was star gazing one night when I rolled over and cut myself on an old Pepsi can. It really angers my inner forest to know man treats the earth in such a way.
